Each level quiz contains 20 randomized questions selected from the cumulative vocabulary for that HSK 3.0 level. Questions rotate through five formats: Chinese-to-English meaning, English-to-Chinese word recognition, pinyin selection, listening comprehension and sentence-gap cloze.
After every answer, the quiz shows immediate feedback with the correct word, pinyin and meaning. At the end, you receive a score, a missed-word list with direct links to each word entry, and the option to retry only the words you missed. Below the quiz, a lightweight flashcard session lets you flip through shuffled vocabulary and mark each card as Know or Again.
Scores and answers stay in the current browser session and are not uploaded as learner records. Missed-word counts and Know/Learning marks are saved locally in this browser so the vocabulary lists can reflect what you want to review.
Choose the level you are currently studying. Higher-level quizzes are cumulative, so an HSK 3.0 Level 4 quiz may include vocabulary first introduced at Levels 1, 2 or 3. This mirrors how the real exam tests recognition across all previously learned words.
If you are unsure, begin one level below your target. A strong score shows recognition, but it does not replace a complete listening, reading and writing practice test.
Each HSK 3.0 quiz level covers a larger cumulative vocabulary pool than the one before it. The progression works as follows:
Every quiz uses the same five question types: Chinese-to-English meaning, English-to-Chinese word recognition, pinyin selection, listening comprehension and sentence-gap cloze. Higher-level quizzes test recognition of these same question types in more challenging contexts, drawing from the expanded cumulative vocabulary.
The vocabulary quiz checks word recognition in a short 20-question session. It is designed for daily review and quick self-assessment. The HSK 3.0 mock test follows the full section and question-count structure for the selected level, including timed listening, reading and writing sections.
Use the vocabulary quiz for daily practice and the mock test when you want realistic exam rehearsal. Combine both with full vocabulary lists and graded reading for a complete study cycle.
