The vocabulary quiz is a short 20-question word review covering meanings, pinyin, audio and sentence gaps. It takes about 5 minutes and is ideal for daily revision. The mock test on this page follows the full HSK exam structure with listening, reading and writing sections, takes 40–140 minutes depending on level, and is designed for realistic exam rehearsal.
Combine both: use the quiz for daily word review, then take the mock test when you want to practise timing and section flow. Pair with reading practice and vocabulary lists for a complete study cycle.
No. Every question and explanation is original HSK Atlas content. The mock tests use the published HSK section structure as a reference for question counts and timing, but are not official past papers.
Yes. You can start any HSK mock test without creating an account. No sign-up or payment is required.
Objective questions (listening and reading) are scored automatically when you submit. Writing tasks at HSK 3 and above are self-reviewed with reference answers because valid responses can vary.
The timer starts when you begin and counts down continuously. You can leave the page, but the timer will not pause. Plan enough time before starting a full mock test.
If you are unsure, start with HSK 1 or HSK 2 to get a feel for the format. Each mock test uses vocabulary and grammar from that band. You can also try the free vocabulary quiz at each level to gauge your readiness.
The current mock tests follow the established six-level structure (HSK 1–6). HSK Atlas also provides HSK 3.0 vocabulary lists for the nine-level framework. Visit the HSK 3.0 section to explore those word lists.
