Lucas

Lucas is the founder of HSK Atlas and an independent Mandarin learner. He builds practical tools and data resources to help international learners understand HSK vocabulary standards and plan their studies.

Why I built HSK Atlas

Learners should be able to find a level, understand the exam, inspect the vocabulary and practice it without crossing several outdated websites. I built HSK Atlas to make those common HSK tasks clearer and faster.

My role is to organize sources, build the tools and explain what the data can—and cannot—tell a learner. I do not present HSK Atlas as an official examination website or myself as a Chinese-language instructor.

How the work is reviewed

Exam facts are checked against official HSK exam publications. Syllabus membership, dictionary material and original learning recommendations remain separate. Uncertain entries and licensing limits are disclosed rather than hidden.
